Sajad Lone challenges PDP to move court, prove majority | KNO

Srinagar, November 23 (KNO) : I challenge them to knock the doors of court and I believe they will get justice there and we will be more than glad to prove our numbers on the floor of the Assembly, said People's Conference (PC) chief and former minister Sajad Gani Lone on Friday.  Lone was addressing a presser in Srinagar and was flanked by PDP defector Imran Ansari. "It’s not a crime to join hands with BJP it began with Omar Abdullah," Lone said. According to KNO correspondent, Lone also criticised PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti and said that they too shared power with the same party he was being criticised to be alligned with.  He said that he challenges people who had claimed stakes on government to move court over Governor’s order to dissolve assembly.  "They have a strong case," Lone said sarcastically saying he need not to go to court as he has accepted Governor J&K Satya Pal Malik's decision to dissolve assembly.  "For five months they were crying that assembly must be dissolved and now when this happens they again cry foul," he said,  adding that he has never asked for dissolving of assembly.  "Did you ever read my statement on this,  they were on their higher pitches for this to be done.  I have accepted Guv's decision.  They have problem they should move court," he said.  Asked about Article 370, PC Chairman said that it is sacred form them. Lone further said that the JKPC has emerged has as an alternative to the traditional politics of exploitation and misrule practiced by the twin-family political monopoly that has used political blackmail and expedient ideological ambiguity to deprive the State of peace and prosperity.(KNO)
